FC Barcelona Ready for First Game at Upgraded Camp Nou this Saturday
Barcelona have announced they will play at the still-under-construction Camp Nou on Saturday. The club will host the Basque side in domestic competition over two years since relocating so building work could begin.
“Returning home was our dream. Finally, it’s happening. We are back at Spotify Camp Nou.”
Not all seats will be available with 45,401 fans will be allowed to watch as per the current authorization. After final construction, the Camp Nou is due to hold close to 105,000 fans, a rise from the old capacity. The club said completed upgrades featured a new players’ tunnel and new dressing rooms.
Recent Activities
The club conducted a fan-accessible workout inside the stadium in early November. Officials stated they were hoping for permission by UEFA for their upcoming Champions League fixture versus the German side on 9 December at the stadium. Their recent games have been held in the temporary ground.
